STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN

There are two paths that you can go by, but in the long run, there's still time to change the road your on...
This site is designed as a means of exploring thoughts from people around the world, what better place to do that than the net? Here we encourage people to be outspoken, state their opinions, and be respectful of others.

This site is still under construction....
it will be a while before we achieve this goal.
THOUGHT OF THE DAY
Education has been a very important part of our lives sence the dawn of time. From when the first scribe picked up a writing utensil, to when a man taught his son to fish. Although in todays society we don't really think of education in such broad terms, instead in recent times we send them to an institute in which they are to be taught, a school.
In this school there is a well supplied faculty of teachers that are to support the child, with knowelege, understanding, and care. Unfortunetly, this is rarely the case. They drill concrete thoughts into the child's head, telling them of non-existant absolutes.
The student at this point is unaware of how to think for themselves. They have always had this "factual" basis of things to go off of. They are taught there is an absolute to everything, a false acusation by the administration of this supposed "institute of knowelege".
The only absolute in life is that there are no absolutes. This institute teaches that there is a right and wrong to everything, a logic that ends up only causing conflict. There is always an aspect always a point of view to prove something right, and always one to prove something wrong. The students then view things from a biest point of view.
If something was against the teachings of this institute, it suddenly became incorrect. No matter how logical or rational it may seem the idea became rediculed and dismissed. In a multi-cultured society this is a major flaw.
